碳纤维桨叶边缘保护套:将边缘视为一个整体

An edge guard is another component in a paddle assembly, not merely a finishing detail. It changes the outside outline and may add local thickness and mass. Review it with the blade construction and finished product geometry rather than specifying the carbon face alone.

Draw the finished outline with the guard included

The bare blade and guarded blade can have different dimensions. Show which outline controls the supplied component and where the guard overlaps the faces. That overlap affects the transition at the edge and any printed or coated region nearby. If the blade is supplied separately for another assembly operation, make that handover condition clear.

Corners and joints need their own views

A straight edge section does not explain how the guard follows a tight corner or where its ends meet. Include those locations in the sample review. Check whether the proposed geometry changes locally through the corner, and record the accepted appearance of the joint. A general front photograph may conceal a gap or a raised end that is easier to see from the edge.

Retention is different from appearance

The way a guard remains attached needs its own review with the intended materials and service conditions. A tidy joint is not evidence of retention performance. If a durability or impact result is required, identify the finished configuration and a suitable test requirement rather than inferring it from carbon fibre construction. Do not treat a protective-looking edge as a certified safety feature.

Compare the completed sample

Weigh and inspect the configuration actually being compared, including the guard and any adhesive or finish. Record the edge profile, guard joint and accepted visual sample. The practical outcome is an agreed assembly definition that can be repeated; performance or competition approval needs separate evidence for the relevant finished product.
