A local area dominated by resin is not the same observation as an empty region inside a laminate. When discussing a surface feature, describe its location and appearance before naming a cause or deciding whether it is acceptable.

Peel ply is a removable fabric that can leave a textured composite surface. Release film separates process layers and may have a defined perforation pattern. They have different roles, so a request for a “peelable layer” is too vague to identify the required process or delivered condition.

In a process using a rigid mould on one side and a vacuum bag on the other, the two faces experience different contact conditions. Calling both faces “carbon finish” can hide that distinction. Identify which face will be visible and how the other face will be used.

A piece of fabric that lies flat on a table does not automatically follow every double-curved surface without changing its yarn arrangement. Tight corners and changing curvature make forming a practical design question, especially where a continuous visible weave is requested.

A finished shape has to leave its manufacturing tool. Draft is a geometric feature related to that release direction; an undercut can obstruct the path. Review the proposed tool and release movement together before assuming a smooth CAD shape is straightforward to mould.
