Component overview
Curved motorcycle fender-shell reference. Exact fitment, edge clearance and attachment requirements depend on the identified vehicle assembly.
Fit the surrounding vehicle assembly
Begin with the mating panel or assembly, including the space behind the visible surface. A drawing of the outside shape should be accompanied by mounting, opening and service-clearance details.
Details to include in your enquiry
| Feature | Information to provide |
|---|---|
| Mating assembly reference | Identify the exact wheel, fork or motorcycle assembly and the installed position. |
| Shell geometry | Provide the curved shell profile and tire or suspension clearances. |
| Attachment points | Locate mounting holes or brackets and list the associated hardware. |
| Visible finish | Mark visible faces and give a gloss, matte or graphic reference. |
Sample review and acceptance
Vehicle fitment, heat exposure and any functional performance need to be reviewed for the actual installation. Separate cosmetic finish approval from mechanical and application-specific verification.
Separate sample and production quantities, identify the governing drawing revision, and list the inspection records you need. If a feature is not yet defined, mark it for discussion before quotation.
Questions about this component
Can the reference be adapted to my drawing?
Submit the drawing and highlight differences from the pictured reference. Geometry, material construction, finish and supplied hardware are reviewed together for the requested configuration.
What is included in the quotation?
Ask for the carbon fiber component, tooling where relevant, finishing, hardware, inspection and packing scope to be listed clearly. A reference image does not define every supplied item.
Product reference images. Dimensions, construction and supplied items are defined by the agreed drawing and quotation.
