A report with impressive values but no identifiable scope is difficult to use for acceptance.<\/p><h2>Check the identifiers first<\/h2><p>Match the drawing revision, part number and batch or sample reference across the purchase order and inspection report. Where a material certificate is included, check how it is linked to the manufacturing batch. Keep unrelated test reports out of the acceptance package.<\/p><h2>Record deviations instead of hiding them<\/h2><p>If a measurement, material or process differs from the agreed requirement, describe the difference and its approval status. A supplier should not silently replace a missing result with an unrelated generic certificate. The customer\u2019s acceptance authority should be clear before shipment.<\/p><h2>Example scenario<\/h2><p>A report shows a passing result for an earlier sample, but the current order uses a revised drawing. Ask the supplier to identify which results remain applicable and what has been reviewed again.
