A replaceable bushing in a carbon fiber fixture needs its own identification and replacement interface. Keep the consumable or wear item distinct from the composite body that supports it. A replacement that fits the outside opening may still have a different working bore or seating feature.
Define both interfaces
Show how the bushing locates in the fixture and how the working item locates in the bushing. Retain the shoulder, retention and orientation features where applicable. The carbon body drawing should not leave the replaceable insert defined only by a supplier photograph.
Plan the replacement record
Identify the bushing designation and the applicable installation instruction. State who decides when it is replaced under the agreed maintenance plan. A universal wear limit cannot be inferred from a conceptual fixture sketch or transferred from another application.
Recheck the relevant function
After replacement, verify the characteristics affected by the changed item using the agreed procedure. Do not assume the original fixture acceptance automatically covers every replacement grade or installation method. Keeping the bushing identity connected to the fixture record makes maintenance traceable without confusing a new wear part with a newly qualified complete fixture.
